The Point San Luis Lighthouse Park enjoys dramatic vistas stretching from Avila to Vandenberg. Whales, Sea Lions and Otters are frequently seen leaping or cavorting on the surface. Experience a rich history on the grounds, in the Lighthouse, the Hornhouse, and other structures.

There are now THREE ways to visit the Lighthouse

NEW SUNDAY VAN TOURS:
The Lighthouse Keepers provide Sunday Van Tours.  Cost is $20 per rider by RESERVATION ONLY.  NO PETS PLEASE. The cost of docent lead tours of the Lighthouse and Head Keeper’s Quarters is included in the Van Fare.  For reservations call 805-540-5771, or visit their website

HIKES –DOCENT LED:
P.G. & E. provides a guided hike on the Pecho Coast Trail.  Round trip to from the lighthouse is 3.5 miles.  Pre-registration requirements, restrictions and schedules of these supervised hikes are available at Lighthouse Website or call 805 541-TREK.   Hikers may also have access to the Lighthouse and Head Keeper’s Quarters at times when Lighthouse Keeper’s docents are present.  A charge of $5 per adult, with $10 charge for a family, supports the work of the Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers restoring, maintaining, and operating visitor services at this Historic Site.  Children under 12 are free.

BOATS – WATER ACCESS:
Visitors who access the Lighthouse Park by boat or hike may also have access to the Lighthouse and Head Keeper’s Quarters at times when Lighthouse Keeper’s docents are present.  A charge of $5 per adult, with $10 charge for a family, supports the work of the Point San Luis Lighthouse Keepers restoring, maintaining, and operating visitor services at this Historic Site.  Children under 12 are free.
