Whale Watching

Gray Whales can be seen during the months of December through April just off the coast of Avila Beach. It is also possible to observe a wide variety of other sea life including Sea otters, Sea Lions, Porpoises, Pelicans, and perhaps a shark or two. This can be an educational experience for the entire family.

We will rockfish from May 1st- November 15, 2009. Our all-day 8-hour trips usually fish the local reefs in waters 120’ to 240’. Our half-day trips fish the local reefs off Port San Luis. Our Long Range trips fish Point Purisma where we target large Ling Cod & Big Reds. Fish filleting and gunnysacks are available on the boat.
