Happy Thanksgiving!! We hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving with your friends and family. If you are coming to Avila Beach today, here is a list of places that we know is open on Thanksgiving day. There might be others that are open, but you will have to check with them. There is also plenty of things to do in Avila that don’t require anyone to be open. Check out our Avila Beach Activities page for more info.

On Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9, Avila will celebrate the holidays in style with a community-wide open house and festive events with the 1st annual Winter Holiday in Avila! Follow the Winter Holiday in Avila Facebook page for more info and all the updates.
Enjoy Christmas decorations and festive spirit all around Avila, Carolers, Live music, Santa Claus, FREE parking in the Avila lot (all day), Free trolley around Avila, Port San Luis and the Avila Valley, Family activities, Goodies and coupons from the local business, Sweet treats, Wine tastings, and more!
5pm-8pm Free child care (5 & up) at the Sea Life Center
