Avila has four beaches. The downtown Avila Beach, Pirates Cove (Nude Beach), Olde Port Beach, and Fisherman’s Beach (Dog Beach). With so many beach activities there is something for everyone!

Enjoy the half-mile strip in Avila Beach to bask in the sun, catch some waves, or play catch with friends. Plenty of food, snacks and shopping nearby. Has a Volleyball court, Basketball court, Pirate playground, BBQ pits, and much more!

A hidden beach located at the end of a trail. Pirate’s Cove is a nude beach. Always something interesting going on in this secluded cove.

Enjoy this beach located on the way to Port San Luis. It has a drive down ramp that you can use only if you want to unload a vessel into the ocean. It also has bon fire pits in the summer for great evenings on the beach. Pits are all first come first serve.

Known to the locals as dog beach. Bring your dog to the beach and let the run wild.
