Avila Beach is located in the heart of the Central Coast of California and hidden just a couple miles off the 101 freeway. With its location tucked away in the Port San Luis Harbor and sheltered by the hills of the Avila Valley. This creates a unique micro climate that gives us the most sunshine of any of the other local beach towns. The locals call it the Avila bubble, because when our coast is socked in with fog, Avila appears to have a bubble around it to let the sun shine through!
