This pirate themed park was named after Peg Pinard, who was a hero to the residents of Avila Beach during the oil spill. This park was dedicated to her in 2001. Pinad park is just off the beach and has an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean.
At this park you can expect to find… A pirate ship fort with mast, grass areas with some picnic tables (first come first serve), two toddler swings, play structure with 2 slides, seahorse rides, and restrooms.
Things you will find nearby… The Sea Life Center, basketball courts, volleyball courts, main Avila beach, picnic tables with BBQ’s, the creek, adult/kid swings, more bathrooms, and showers.
