Travel back in time and take a ride in this classic trolley to the historic Point San Luis Lighthouse. After the ride, take a docent led tour of the lighthouse. Also enjoy extra Sunday tours on these weekends (Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving) and special event tours on specific holidays (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Haunted Halloween tour, and Christmas). The trail to the Point San Luis Lighthouse is open to 20 hikers on Wednesday and 40 hikers on Saturdays. Reservations need to be made two weeks in advance of the hike. The hike to the Point San Luis Lighthouse is 3.75 miles and moderately strenuous with uneven terrain, steep cliffs and grades, narrow trails, and crumbling earth. Sturdy hiking shoes are required.
