Port San Luis Camping is some of the best camping on the Central Coast of CA. You have a chance to experience amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. With services located within walking distance and a free shuttle on the weekends you can enjoy not towing a car. Check out our interactive map for all services.

All camping in the Port is RV camping. No tent camping is currently allowed. RV Camping is all first come first serve and is no reservations. There are now camp hosts and they can be reached by email at camphost@portsanluis.com or by phone at (805) 903-3395.

There are five areas for camping

• Turnout above Fisherman's Beach (Dry Camping)


• Nobi Point turnout (Dry Camping)


• 10 full hook-up sites are available off Babe Lane (Full Hook-ups)


• Overflow RV Camping (Dry Camping, located up on the hill and has the best view of the whole harbor)


• In addition, camping is permitted in a portion of the Coastal Gateway trailer boat parking area, when not otherwise needed for vehicles with trailer boats. (Check with the camp hosts upon arrival - Full Hook-ups)

Few notes from other campers, please use this as guidelines and not rules. Be prepared to pay as soon as you arrive. The harbor is pretty strict on this now. If you need to pay with a credit card you can go into the harbor office during their business hours. If you have a raised enclosed pit you can have camp fires (except for in overflow camping).
